AUTHORIZED RETAILER SUPPORT GUIDE

DIGIBOX D6 MAX Setup & Support

A practical guide to unboxing, connecting your TV, setting up Wi-Fi or Ethernet, preparing the voice remote, checking system updates, and solving common startup problems.

!

Use the supplied power adapter. Do not install firmware from unofficial websites, disconnect power during an update, or factory-reset the box unless ordinary troubleshooting has failed.

QUICK OVERVIEW

Four Things to Prepare

Check the package and your home setup before powering on the D6 MAX.

01

D6 MAX & Power

Use the original DIGIBOX D6 MAX and supplied USB-C power adapter.

02

HDMI Display

Choose a free HDMI port and remember its input number on the TV.

03

Home Network

Have the Wi-Fi name and password ready, or connect Ethernet.

04

Voice Remote

Install compatible batteries. Batteries may not be included in the package.

CONNECTION MAP

Connect the Hardware in the Right Order

Make all cable connections while the D6 MAX is powered off. This reduces unnecessary input switching and makes first startup easier.

  • HDMI carries video and audio from the D6 MAX to your display.
  • The supplied USB-C adapter provides stable power.
  • Ethernet is optional; Wi-Fi can be selected during on-screen setup.

FIRST-TIME INSTALLATION

Set Up Your DIGIBOX D6 MAX Step by Step

Menu names can vary slightly after system updates. Follow the option on your screen that most closely matches the instruction below.

01

Unbox and Check the Package

The standard original package should include the DIGIBOX D6 MAX, Bluetooth voice air-mouse remote, USB-C power adapter, HDMI cable, and user documentation.

Current promotional gifts—such as a wireless keyboard, an 8K-rated HDMI cable, or a remote protective cover—are separate from the standard package and should match what was shown on your order page.

If something is missing: keep the shipping carton and product packaging, take clear photos, and contact us with your order number before discarding anything.
02

Connect the D6 MAX to Your TV

  1. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output on the D6 MAX.
  2. Connect the other end to an available HDMI input on your TV, monitor, or projector.
  3. If using wired internet, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the D6 MAX.
  4. Connect the supplied USB-C power adapter to the D6 MAX, then plug it into a safe wall outlet.
  5. Turn on the display and select the HDMI input you used.
If the screen says “No Signal,” verify the input number first. For example, a cable connected to HDMI 2 requires the TV to be set to HDMI 2.
03

Prepare and Pair the Voice Remote

Install the battery type shown inside the remote’s battery compartment and observe the polarity markings. The remote may work immediately for basic navigation.

If an on-screen Bluetooth pairing prompt appears, follow the button combination displayed on that screen. If no prompt appears and Bluetooth functions are unavailable, open Settings → Remotes & Accessories (or the closest matching menu) and choose the option to add or pair a remote.

Voice control note: voice input depends on the selected app, language, network connection, microphone permission, and app support. Not every third-party app supports voice search.
04

Select Language, Display, and Basic Preferences

Follow the startup screens to choose a language, time zone, and display options. Start with the automatic or recommended resolution. You can adjust display settings later if text is cropped or the picture flickers.

  • Keep the TV’s overscan or zoom mode off when the interface is cut off at the edges.
  • Use a resolution supported by both the display and HDMI cable.
  • Do not force an 8K mode solely because the hardware supports 8K video decoding.
05

Connect to Wi-Fi or Ethernet

Open the network screen during setup or go to Settings → Network & Internet. Choose one connection method:

Wi-Fi

Select your network name and enter the password carefully. A 5GHz connection is often faster at short range; 2.4GHz generally reaches farther through walls.

Ethernet

Connect the router and D6 MAX with a working Ethernet cable. Most home routers assign the network settings automatically.

For stable high-resolution playback, Ethernet is usually the most consistent option. Actual performance still depends on your internet plan, router, network traffic, app, and source quality.
06

Review System Updates

After the network is connected, allow the box a few minutes to finish initial background tasks. Then open the system settings and check for an update only through the built-in update function or instructions supplied directly by authorized support.

Do not download firmware from random websites or install files intended for another DIGIBOX model. See the safe update procedure below before continuing.

07

Sign In and Install Compatible Apps

Sign in only to accounts you own. Install apps from legitimate sources and follow each provider’s terms. App availability, certification, regional access, subscription fees, and compatibility are controlled by the third-party provider and can change independently of the hardware.

This retailer does not bundle or guarantee unauthorized channels, permanent third-party service access, or subscription content.

08

Complete a Final Check

  • Confirm the picture fills the screen correctly and audio plays through the intended output.
  • Test remote navigation and, in a supported app, voice input.
  • Open network settings and confirm the box remains connected.
  • Place the D6 MAX on a firm, ventilated surface rather than inside a closed cabinet.
  • Keep the order confirmation and record the product serial number for support.

SAFE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

Firmware and System Updates

Updates can improve stability, compatibility, or security, but an interrupted or incorrect firmware installation can prevent the box from starting. Use a stable network and keep the original power adapter connected throughout the process.

Recommended update procedure

  1. Close running apps and confirm the internet connection is stable.
  2. Open Settings and look for System Update, Software Update, or a similar option under System/About.
  3. Read the version information shown by the device.
  4. Start only an update offered by the built-in system or specifically supplied for your serial/model by authorized support.
  5. Do not turn off the TV box, unplug power, or press reset while the update is installing.
  6. After restart, allow the system several minutes to finish optimization before opening apps.
Never flash D3 Plus or another model’s firmware onto a D6 MAX. If the built-in updater reports an error, record the message and contact support before trying manual recovery.

COMMON PROBLEMS

DIGIBOX D6 MAX Troubleshooting

Start with the least disruptive checks. Restarting and reconnecting cables are safer than resetting the device or installing firmware.

The D6 MAX does not power on
  1. Confirm the wall outlet works with another device.
  2. Reconnect the supplied adapter at the outlet and D6 MAX.
  3. Inspect the cable and adapter for visible damage.
  4. Disconnect power for 60 seconds, then reconnect it.
  5. If there is still no power indicator or startup screen, contact support.

  1. Select the exact HDMI input used by the cable.
  2. Reconnect both HDMI ends firmly.
  3. Try another HDMI port on the TV.
  4. Test a known-working HDMI cable if available.
  5. Restart the TV and D6 MAX.
The remote does not respond
  1. Check battery direction and try fresh compatible batteries.
  2. Move close to the D6 MAX and remove obstacles.
  3. Follow any on-screen pairing prompt.
  4. Open Remotes & Accessories and attempt Bluetooth pairing.
  5. Disconnect D6 MAX power for 60 seconds and retry.
Wi-Fi is slow, unstable, or disconnects
  1. Restart the router and D6 MAX.
  2. Move the router closer or reduce obstacles.
  3. Try 5GHz at short range or 2.4GHz for longer range.
  4. Forget the network, reconnect, and re-enter the password.
  5. Test Ethernet to determine whether the issue is Wi-Fi-specific.
Ethernet is connected but there is no internet
  1. Reconnect the cable at the router and D6 MAX.
  2. Try a different router port or cable.
  3. Confirm other devices can access the internet through the router.
  4. Restart the router first, then restart the D6 MAX.
  5. Use automatic network settings unless your network administrator requires manual values.
An app freezes, closes, or will not install
  1. Restart the D6 MAX and try again.
  2. Check free storage and remove apps you do not use.
  3. Update the app from its legitimate source.
  4. Clear only that app’s cache before clearing data.
  5. Confirm the app supports the device, region, and current Android version.
There is picture but no sound
  1. Check TV and D6 MAX volume and mute controls.
  2. Reconnect HDMI and try another HDMI port.
  3. Confirm audio output is set to the TV or intended receiver.
  4. Temporarily select an automatic/PCM-compatible audio mode.
  5. Test another app or file to isolate the source.
The interface feels slow or storage is low
  1. Restart the D6 MAX.
  2. Close unused apps and uninstall those you no longer need.
  3. Clear cache for unusually large apps.
  4. Keep some internal storage free for updates and app data.
  5. Avoid installing untrusted “cleaner” or optimization apps.
The picture is cropped, flickers, or uses the wrong resolution
  1. Set the TV picture size to Original, Just Scan, Screen Fit, or a similar non-zoom mode.
  2. Return the D6 MAX display resolution to Auto or Recommended.
  3. Try a lower resolution or refresh rate supported by the TV.
  4. Reconnect or replace the HDMI cable.
  5. Do not force 8K output on an unsupported display.
The D6 MAX restarts or becomes unusually warm
  1. Place it on a hard, open surface with ventilation.
  2. Keep it away from other heat-producing equipment.
  3. Use the supplied power adapter.
  4. Disconnect unnecessary USB accessories and test again.
  5. If repeated restarts continue, stop using the device and contact support.

Before performing a factory reset

A factory reset removes accounts, installed apps, Wi-Fi settings, and personal preferences. First record the problem, restart the device, reconnect cables, and contact support when appropriate. If a reset is necessary, use the built-in Settings menu and keep power connected until the device returns to the setup screen.

SETUP QUESTIONS

Quick Answers

For ordering, delivery, warranty, and retailer questions, visit our full FAQ page.

Can I complete setup without Wi-Fi?
You can make the hardware connections and use Ethernet instead. Most internet-based apps, account sign-ins, and system update checks still require an active internet connection.
Should I use 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi?
Use 5GHz when the router is nearby and you want higher potential speed. Use 2.4GHz when the signal must travel farther or through more walls. Ethernet is usually the most stable choice.
Can I use a different USB-C charger?
Use the supplied power adapter. A charger with the wrong voltage, current, or power behavior may cause restarts, instability, damage, or warranty issues.
Why does voice search work in one app but not another?
Voice input depends on each app’s design, permissions, language support, account, and network access. The remote microphone does not guarantee voice compatibility with every third-party app.
Will a factory reset fix every problem?
No. A reset will not repair a damaged cable, power adapter, TV input, internet outage, incompatible app, or hardware fault. Use it only after ordinary checks and remember that it erases local accounts, apps, and settings.
Where can I get warranty help?
For an eligible D6 MAX purchased directly from this website, contact us with your order number and serial number. Review the Warranty & Returns Policy for coverage and claim requirements.
